Photographer David Edwards

David Edwards has been a freelance photographer for over sixteen years and a river guide in the Grand Canyon for 25 years. He has guided on numerous river expeditions around the world as a boatman, guide, & photographer.

Dave participated in trips on the first descents of the Yangtze River in China and the Bashkaus in Siberia. He has worked as a photographer and guide in Africa, Alaska, Chile, Bolivia, China, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, and throughout the Southwestern U.S.

His work has appeared in numerous national and international publications. His focus is on the documentary photographic essay.  He' our friend.

The Turquoise Room

The Turquoise Room is a hidden gem located in Winslow, Arizona. Located in the renovated, historical La Posada Hotel, The Turquoise Room serves an exquisite variety of dishes from roast prime rib, to their famous Killer Vegetable Platter. Always seasonal, always southwestern; their dishes are always a worthy reason to venture down interstate 40 from Flagstaff. Their breakfasts are reknowned. And hey, they serve our freshly roasted coffee too!
